| I like this teapot. I like the fact that it is microwavable. This allows me to heat my water before I add the tea to the infuser. |
Wonderful teapot - no spill

One key thing about teapots is its no-spill capability. This teapot does just that. Delivery was quick. However the box was slightly damaged when I got it. No fuss since i was going to use it anyway.. and not a gift.
love it and have been using it to brew black, red and also green tea and also flower teas!!!

Very cute, quite large pot

I bought this as a replacement pot for home when my husband made off with our home teapot for his office. So I wanted a larger sized pot - and this one is definitely large! It also has an attractive clean design.
However - The glass infuser doesn't hang down quite far enough into the belly of the pot. You have to pour a LOT of water in for it to contact your tea leaves, and you therefore can't use it for "tea for one".
Even by borosilicate standards (tradename Pyrex) it is a little dainty. But most teapots are thin borosilicate, so that is fine. I've never had one break on me.
Overall, I give it an "OK" rating - nothing special. I am on Amazon here today looking for another glass pot with a deeper-set infuser and a smaller pot size. |
Made of very thin glass

The teapot is cute, and it infuses well, but you'll have to handle it like an eggshell if you want it to remain intact.
I was shocked at how thin the glass is on this item, and frankly was hesitant to pour hot water into it. I used it ONCE, SLIGHTLY knocked the infuser piece when placing it into the dishwasher, and the lip of the piece chipped. Luckily, it still sits in the pot and I can still use it, but I'm really disappointed. I wouldn't buy it again.
