Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R33Z1UF6MYF1OP I made the video the first time I tried the teapot for fun (because I can) B-)
I thought it was a little pricey but I ordered it anyway based on other reviews. I wasn't disappointed, it's a great looking teapot and overall I'm pleased with the purchase. If this one breaks, I'll buy another.
The bamboo stand is nothing special but it looks nice and I'm glad it came with it. The scoop is small for easy storage, good looking and functional - it will get used. I like the look and feel of the handle. It would be nice if the handle came off the teapot for cleaning. I tried to remove it from the teapot but the glass feels thin and delicate, so I didn't try too hard for fear of breaking it. It looks like real bamboo so I'm a little concerned it won't do well in the dishwasher (though it does look coated/sealed.
I frequently brew 1 or 2 cups of tea at a time. The infuser doesn't sit flush on the bottom of the teapot so 2 cups (16oz) is about the minimum you can do. So I'll have to find another option for single cup brewing.

IT will break. It has to. But before it does it's great. The buddha teaches that nothing on this earth is permanent; if you have embraced that lesson, then a glass tea pot is perfect for you.

This is a beautiful teapot with a nice wood stand. It is perfect for making tea using bulk tea instead of tea bags. The design allows for easy cleaning.

Absolutely love it. It's very elegant and delicate, so requires careful handling. Works well. Can prepeare up to 4 cups of tea. Works great for Primula Flowering Teas. The infuser is easily removed and put back in to be used for loose leaf teas.
Excellent!

Resubmitted for this teapot, the one I own.
I've had this pot for over 2 months. I've made at least 12 pots of tea with it. It is awesome. Easy to use, and easy to clean once you get the hang of it. I've got some other tea pots, but they have been moved to the back of the shelf. This pot stays on my counter for instant use. I like it quite a bit. Loose tea is the way to go.
Of course you have to be careful with it.
The instructions for making tea are spot on. But I use a spoon more of tea because I like it strong.
Try and wait for this to go on sale to make the tea taste even better with that little dash of 'good buy' in it. |

It's an expensive teapot, but it was worth the buy. The teapot looks great empty and when it's full. The mesh hold tea leaves great. You don't know this from picture, but the mesh hold has 3 tiny holes at the bottom. Some tiny particles can go through to the pot, but when pouring, those particles rarely leave out of the spout. I usually make rooibos tea, and I enjoy every cup that I make. It's true that you have to make for a bunch of people to drink tea from it. I can see making a minimum of 3 drinking cups. Great teapot and I wouldn't have bought any other.

I absolutely love the bonjour zen teapot . My first one broke and I couldn't wait to get another one which is my current second teapot it is so pretty from the bamboo holder even to the wood stand , I am not that trill with the mesh since it does get out of shape but I still love the teapot if it does break again and a course it will as I will continue to buy it. Hope the price does go down a bit.
