This is the perfect pot for 2 cups of loose leaf tea. The infuser is easy to clean and the bits don't get wedged in the holes, unlike a pot I have with a plastic infuser. You can use it without the infuser for bagged tea as well.
Unlike the bigger Le Creuset tea pot, this lid does not have a nub on it to keep it in place when pouring. Thus, be sure to keep a finger on the lid when filling your cup. |

| After breaking my trusty brown betty, I needed a replacement. After doing some research for some kitchen cookware, I stumbled on the Le Creuset tea pot. I was a little unsure of using the infuser portion but have found it very useful. I used to pour the tea through a small strainer so it is nice not needing extra hardware. The leaves are able to expand (which did concern me being that infuser isn't as large a space as the pot itself) and brews the perfect cup of tea for one person. As the other reviewer noted, it is a good idea to keep ahold of the lid with your finger while you pour, but I have only nearly had an issue of it coming off once. I also find that this teapot drips far less out of the spout than my brown betty so my counter top sure does appreciate that! |
